Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of this website and the engagement of consulting services provided by Cook Behavioral Health Consulting (“Consultant”).

By accessing this website or engaging in consulting services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Nature of Services

Cook Behavioral Health Consulting provides educational consulting services to behavioral health practices. Services may include development of patient education materials, communication systems, blog content, onboarding materials, and related structured consulting support.

No therapy, diagnosis, treatment, medical advice, or clinical supervision is provided.

Engagement in consulting services does not create a provider–patient relationship.

2. Scope of Engagement

Consulting services are defined by the agreed-upon package or written proposal.

All deliverables are educational in nature and are subject to review and approval by the client practice prior to publication or distribution.

The Consultant does not access protected health information (PHI) and does not provide services requiring access to patient records.

3. Payment Terms

Monthly consulting packages are billed at the agreed-upon rate (as listed on the Services page or defined in proposal documentation).

Payment terms will be outlined prior to the start of services. Continued services are contingent upon timely payment.

4. Cancellations & Termination

Consulting services require an initial three (3) month commitment to allow for meaningful implementation and system development.

Following the initial three-month period, consulting engagements will continue on a month-to-month basis unless otherwise agreed in writing. Either party may terminate with a thirty (30) days written notice following the initial three-month period.

Outstanding invoices remain payable upon termination.

5. Intellectual Property

All materials developed during consulting engagements remain the property of the client practice upon full payment.

The Consultant retains the right to reference general project scope for portfolio or marketing purposes without disclosing confidential or identifying information.

6. Limitation of Liability

Cook Behavioral Health Consulting shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or consulting deliverables.

All materials are educational in nature and must be reviewed and approved by the client practice prior to use.

7. Confidentiality

The Consultant agrees to maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary business information shared during the course of consulting engagements.

No protected health information (PHI) is requested or utilized.

8. Website Use

Content on this website is provided for informational purposes only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or copied without written permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by applicable state and federal laws.
